I remember Babar from my childhood so I got excited when I was offered the chance to let my children watch the new digitally restored and remastered DVD set of Babar: The Classic Series: The Complete First Season. All four of my kids love to watch it! There aren't many movies that keep the attention of my youngest, but she does like to sit and watch Babar. She has even pointed at the TV and said "Babar", which was her way of asking if she could watch Babar. My three year old often watches it during quiet time. He will lay there and quietly watch as many shows as possible before he finally dozes off.

The complete first season comes on two discs with a total of thirteen episodes. It has a total running time of 293 minutes (4 hours, 53 minutes). The inside cover tells the name of each episode along with a little information about each one. You can watch this in English or you can choose the French or Spanish language option.
